Hormone Yoga Deep Dive – 3-Week Course for Women with Anna

Course Description:

This 3-week course is an invitation to dive deeper into the power of yoga to support your hormonal balance. Throughout the course, we will work on connecting deeply with your body’s wisdom in order to soothe your nervous system and restore your hormonal balance. You will be held in a safe space where we will explore the inherent power to heal from within, tune into the more subtle aspects of your being and develop more kindness towards yourself.

What is Hormone Yoga? 

Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) was designed by Dinah Rodrigues specifically for women with hormonal imbalances. HYT is a natural and holistic approach to reactivating hormone production. It consists of dynamic practices to stimulate the glands as well as calming/anti-stress techniques to soothe the nervous system. This therapeutic sequence along with a balanced diet and lifestyle helps women all over the world with menstrual problems, with difficulties to get pregnant, mood swings, hot flushes, hair loss, migraines, hypoactive thyroid, insomnia, osteoporosis, hair loss and others.

This 3-week course will consist of three 2-hour long sessions. Each session will focus on a specific gland

Week 1 : Adrenal Glands : Grounding and Presence 

Week 2 : Ovaries/Ovary Space :Emotional Balance

Week 3 : Thyroid : Self-expression and Personal Truth 

In each session, we will have space to connect one with another through our weekly sharing circle at the start and at the end of each gathering. This is a space for you to show up as you are, connect with yourself, rest and gain strength from being together and supporting one another.


Who is Hormone Yoga for?
Hormone Yoga is recommended for women with hormonal imbalances especially related to:
● PMS, irregular menstrual cycle & polycystic ovaries
● fertility
● symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, night sweats, loss of memory, mood changes, hair loss (practised in order to reduce these symptoms)
● premature menopause
● perimenopause in order to keep up slowly decreasing hormone levels
● as a way to tone and rejuvenate for any women above 35 years old
● Hypothyroidism

● in cases where estrogen level should not increase e.g. severe endometriosis, fibroids/myoma or breast cancer
● in case of any other cancer – check with your doctor
● after a surgery

  • in case of pregnancy
    ● in case of acute psychosis
    ● in case of any hormone-related disease ask your doctor for advice
  • During menstruation, you can still practise although some modifications will be given for your Hormone Yoga practice. This is a time to create more space to rest for your body.

About The Facilitator

    • Anna is a qualified Yoga Teacher with over 700 hours of yoga teacher training including traditional Hatha Yoga, meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, pregnancy yoga, mom & baby yoga, hormone yoga, well women yoga and trauma-informed yoga.   
    • Anna is a  Menstrual Cycle Coach, Educator & Facilitator with focus on raising awareness about the menstrual cycle, cultivating connection with our natural rhythms and living more mindfully and intuitively. 
    • Anna is currently undergoing training in Compassionate Inquiry (based on teachings of Gabor Mate), a psychotherapeutic approach to support healing of trauma 
    • Anna works both with groups and with individuals. 
    • Anna is a daily practitioner of yoga, meditation through traditional techniques as well as through creativity and by connecting with nature. She also has been a practitioner of Nichiren Buddhism (Mahayana) since 2011.
