Nurture your nervous System with
Kundalini Yoga

This workshop is Onsite

Workshop Description:

Stress relief has always been a focus when someone decides to do yoga, meditation or breathwork. Some people experiencing ‘peace’, where others enter the ‘bliss of stillness’.

But how does it work and why is it so beneficial?

In this Kundalini yoga class, we will do a deep dive into our nervous systems. Our sympathetic nervous system that runs through the spine has developed at a very early “stage” in the uterus. Because there was no brain function at that time, we could not have experienced stress or emotions that disturbed our system development. These usually present themselves as adulthood symptoms of excessive nervousness and fear of doing new things, travelling or anything out of our comfort zone.

The Vagal nervous system that runs through all our organs and ends up in our brain develops at week 20 after birth. At this time simple things like how your parents were holding you or even how long you may have spent in the crib vs. resting on your mother’s chest can affect the development of this system. If this system developed with any issues during this time common issues like Anxiety, Asthma, Allergies and ADHD can occur in our adult life.

Kundalini Yoga offers the unique technique of

ASANAS – Yoga Poses

PRANAYAMA – Breathwork

MUDRAS – Hand gestures

MANTRAS – Creating Sounds and Humming

that helps to repair these two major nervous systems in our body.

It helps to release stress and other tensions in our body. It helps to repair our unconscious behavioural patterns by going into the core of the problem. This workshop will help you enter that state of safety and rest where you can easily release these patterns and rewrite them with affirmations that serve your current life better.
