Summer Kundalini Energizing Breathwork

Workshop Description:

Kundalini yoga is well known to be a totally different experience from the yoga that you might be used to. It’s main characteristics comes from the traditional asanas (positions), mudras (hand gestures), mantras (vibrational energy – chanting) and pranayama which is similar to now popular breathwork.

This unique Kundalini class is a once off donation-based event. It’s a perfect introduction to Kundalini if you have never done it. It’s an energising summer class to help your release all that energy stored from winter.

It’s also a great fat burning class at a biological level as it is activating your liver, your metabolism and your lymphatic drainage system. Because of this it is also a great detoxifier session.

Kundalini is a very effective type of a yoga because it works on the “nadi” system which is the energy system of the body.  When this system has blockages, we experience physical, mental, and emotional sluggishness and over or under activity. An example of this might be experiencing anxiety as the heart chakra is blockage on an energetic level. In Kundalini we work with these energy systems and simply cleanse and make way for the natural process to release and let go.

This fun summer class will include working with the bottom 3 chakras (Root, Sacral and Solar) and the heart chakra too.

All levels are welcome. You will need a mat and some cushions or a blanket for this session.

The class will be recorded in case you miss it and will include a sound bath session to relax at the end.

About The Facilitator


    • Nikki is a qualified fitness instructor, personal trainer, Neuro Muscular therapist, yoga, and Pilates instructor since 2010. Nikki also completed the dietitian course in 2011 in DCU via the National training College.
      She has been actively teaching various classes in the past 10 years in different locations around Dublin.
      She deepened her Yoga and Meditation skills in the past 5 years by completing Kundalini Yoga, Mantra meditation teacher courses in Samadhi Yoga School. She practices meditation and yoga daily. Her passion is to bring gentle movement and yoga with breathing back into everyday life as preparation for meditation.
