Tea Ceremony with Sacred Medicinal Celtic Plants and Sound Bath Evening with Renata May 2024

This workshop is Onsite

Workshop Description:

Join Renata on a journey with medicinal Celtic plants. Learn their traditional uses, their history, their legends and stories along with the scientific evidence that they work. Let’s learn what our ancestors have practised for millenia.

The plant we’re going to connect with in May is Hawthorn also known as White thorn or a May flower. A sacred tree that can live up to 400 years is known for its affinity to the cardiovascular system. Flowers, leaves and berries are used as a heart tonic due to the presence of flavonoids and proanthocyanidins. Hawthorn extract regenerates and strengthens damaged tissue, normalises blood pressure and helps with spasmodic pain. It has a nourishing, restoring and calming effect.
Hawthorn belongs to a rose family, and like roses, this glorious tree opens, calms and protects our physical and emotional heart.
Would you like to learn more about its traditional and modern uses? Would you like to taste the “Heart medicine” ? Join our Tea Ceremony and the Sound Bath evening!

Our evening will be a mix of tastes, stories, tradition and science that will end with a relaxing Soundbath. You will discover the secret of medicinal plants and you’ll experience the healing effect of the sound and vibration.

You are welcome to bring a journal or some paper and a pen with you on the evening to take some notes during the workshop, if you wish. You might also like to bring an eye mask for the sound bath, but it is not necessary if you do not have one.
