A Courage & Renewal Book Group Circle of Trust: Exploring ‘A Hidden Wholeness’ by Parker Palmer

 This course is Online

Discover Your True Self in a Community of Trust

Are you seeking a deeper connection with your true self? Our online book group offers a unique opportunity to explore Parker J. Palmer’s transformative work, A Hidden Wholeness, in a Circle of Trust. Unlike traditional book clubs, this group is dedicated to soul work, where we delve into the core of who we are, beyond the personas we present to the world.

What Makes This Book Group Different?

In this circle, we’re not just reading a book- we’re embarking on a journey of self-discovery. Rather than simply discussing the content, we’ll ask profound questions like, What am I truly about? How does this resonate with my inner life? The themes of A Hidden Wholeness will guide us as we create space to listen to our own inner wisdom.

Our Guiding Principles:

Inner Exploration. This group is about more than just understanding the book. It’s about understanding yourself. We honour the belief that your soul knows what you need better than anyone else.

Shared Solitude. We are a ‘community of solitudes’ each of us alone together, supporting one another in our individual journeys.

Facilitator-Participants. Patricia and Sue, your facilitators, are not just leaders but fellow travellers on this path. With over ten years of experience in Circles of Trust, we ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all.

Honest Questions. Here, there are no right or wrong answers. We help each other by asking open and honest questions that encourage deeper self-reflection.

Journaling. Journals will be our companions, helping us capture the insights and challenges that arise from our inner work. These reflections are for your eyes only – a trusted space for your innermost thoughts.

Confidentiality. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. We practice double confidentiality, protecting the privacy of all participants.

Silence as a Tool for Reflection. In our Circle of Trust, silence is golden. After someone speaks, we take time to reflect, allowing the words to settle and resonate within us before moving on. This practice helps us to listen more deeply to ourselves and each other.

So Join us and embark on a journey toward living ‘divided no more.’ Together, we’ll create a space where your hidden wholeness can emerge and thrive.
