Tea Ceremony with Sacred Medicinal Celtic Plants and Sound Bath Evening with Renata
This workshop is Onsite
Workshop Description:
Join Renata on a journey with medicinal Celtic plants. Learn their traditional uses, their history, their legends and stories along with the scientific evidence that they work. Let’s learn what our ancestors have practised for millenia.
The plant we’re going to connect with in December is Rose: a beauty known for its attractive scent, appearance and a variety of uses.
A Wild Rose is one of the most underrated medicines in terms of healing the spirit, negativity release and emotional distress. It is often overlooked as it grows in the ditches, and its 5 petal flowers are not as striking as the Roses we are used to seeing in the florist. It may appear very simple and humble, but its scent is many times stronger than the decorative roses.
It is an ancient symbol of love, fertility and beauty. It has been used traditionally to open up our heart, release tension and grief, calm our emotions and address many conditions related to our physical and emotional heart.
The fruit of the Wild Rose is known as Rose hip and it contains 20 times more vitamin C than oranges! You may be familiar with the Rose oil made from its seeds, the oil rich in vitamin A that is needed for the collagen production. It is an amazing skin tonic!
If you like to hear more about this ancient medicinal plant, sign up for our Tea ceremony and Sound Bath evening!
Our evening will be a mix of tastes, stories, tradition and science that will end with a relaxing Soundbath. You will discover the secret of medicinal plants and you’ll experience the healing effect of the sound and vibration.
You are welcome to bring a journal or some paper and a pen with you on the evening to take some notes during the workshop, if you wish. You might also like to bring an eye mask for the sound bath, but it is not necessary if you do not have one.
Day & Date: Wednesday 18th December 2024
Time: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
